Tryout Updates!
Are you ready?! Tryouts begin tomorrow, Monday, November 13th. Here are a few updates and reminders:
Monday, Nov 13
Freshman/JV: 3:00 – 5:00 Lower Back Field
Varsity: 5:30 – 7:30 Stadium
Tuesday, Nov 14
Freshman/JV: 3:30 – 5:30 Upper Back Field
Varsity: 3:30 – 5:30 Stadium
Wednesday, Nov 15
Freshman/JV: 3:30 – 5:30 Lower Back Field
Thursday, Nov 16

Your “Ticket to Play” will be collected at the field on the first day of tryouts. You will need a TICKET to PLAY to tryout. No Ticket, No Tryouts.
Please bring the additional form that was sent out in our emails with you to your tryout.
If your Fall sport is moving into CIF Playoffs, then you must continue with that sport and cannot participate in tryouts until the sport is done.
You must contact Coach Jaffe at: AJaffe@Powayusd.com ***Please let us know if this is your situation. Everyone will be given an opportunity to tryout.
No club gear. We are Poway High School. Our coaches should not be able to determine which club you play for by your attire.
All players may try out for their desired level of play, with the following exceptions:
Only Freshman may play on the Freshman team
(Freshman may play on JV or Varsity)
Seniors are only permitted to play on Varsity
Please note: If you are trying out for the Varsity/JV level team and cut, this will not guarantee you a spot on JV/Freshman teams.
